Makyt is a predominately Polish-bred Black Arabian stallion who has won over twenty performance Championships to his credit. He has wins in English Pleasure, Driving, and Native Costume in major shows including the Buckeye, Pro. Am and Region IX.
Makyt has been royally bred from some of the greatest all-time Arabian horses. His sire, Zodiac Matador, was a Three Star Lasma Stallion, that was a National Champion Park horse as well as siring numerous champions.His grandfather on his dam's side, National Champion *Aladdinn, was a syndicated Five Star Lasma Stallion, that was unsurpassed as a sire of National Halter champions in 1987. The *Aladdinn, *Bask cross was considered by many breeders as a Golden Cross of Champions.
In 1996 Makyt was seriously injured whe he and his rider, Meghan Wilson, were struck by a spooked horse in the Native Costume class at Youth Nationals.
Makyt is siring beautiful, upright foals that are winning now in Halter. One of his sons won over $17,000 in a Futurity in Florida. |
